A MAGNIFICENT SEVEN AS THE MAIL AGAIN SPONSORS FILM FESTIVAL

The Edinburgh International Film Festival completed its 58th year in August - making it the longest-running cinema festival anywhere in the world.

Associated Newspapers Ltd returned for a seventh year of sponsorship which was again co-ordinated by Ross Wilson PR.

The sponsorship by the Scottish Daily Mail, The Scottish Mail on Sunday and METRO reflects a long-standing commitment to the celebration of the cinema through this outstanding and world-famous Festival.

The three newspapers provide financial support in addition to publishing the Edinburgh International Film Festival Official Programme which was given away free in The Scottish Mail On Sunday.

The Patron of the Edinburgh International Film Festival is Sir Sean Connery. Its Chairman is John McCormick, former Controller of BBC Scotland.
